Would you rather have a pain reliever or a pain reliever specifically for headaches?
I think most of us know, Tylenol is typically good for a headache. If we have a backache, wouldn’t you look more towards Advil or Aleve?
If you apply that thinking to caring for our feet, you will then begin to understand the concept. You will speak to your clients differently and educate them on your newfound knowledge.
My prior relationship, I spent 16 years with a man who told you what you needed to know. The problem is, he never told the whole truth.
When a scenario would happen that I would question, he turned the whole situation to being my fault. In effect, it was. I didn’t ask ALL the questions nor the right questions.
In my mind however, why would I need to? After all, when you care fo someone, don’t you expect the best without having to ask?
You are probably wondering where I am going with this?
What I am getting at is…….when you provide a service to your clients do you give them the absolute best of you without asking?
If that is the case, this would include using the best products, the best tools and going a step further and recommending products for at home care.
Being good at your job, providing the ultimate in foot care and being the best you can be is what we all want. However, most of us are probably only a partial of this.
- Are you educated?
- Do you know what your products do your to your clients feet?
- Do you know how your foot file can damage the clients feet?
- Do you share with your client how to maintain the health of their skin between visits?
We all did a bit of evaluating this year.
- We evaluated our sanitation practices and improved them
- We adjusted our pricing accordingly
- We went through our finances to better prepare for any future disasters?
We did a lot and endured through a very tough year. However………
Our clients were or are the recipients of our adjustments. And, for the most part it is my understanding from all over the Country, most of them have returned.
The questions now is…..what have we personally done for our Customers?
So I leave you with one thought as we finish up 2020.
Maybe it’s time for you to re-evaluate, are you giving the best you can give to your clients?
