🌱 Planting Seeds Now for a Thriving 2026

Here we are, less than 2 months shy of the final quarter of the year. My favorite!  Not because of the weather, although I won’t complain. Because for me, it’s seed planting time.  I take everything I imagine in making my Business better and I plant the seeds to make it happen in the coming year.

I plan, I organize, I put it on paper and I develope the course of action to make it all happen. I’ve been doing this for years. It makes me excited, motivated and especially thrilled when my thoughts, my ideas, my plans…all come into fruition.

The last quarter of the year often gets overshadowed by the rush of the holidays, the closing of books, and the general mindset that “the year is almost over.” But in reality, these final months are some of the most powerful and strategic times for setting yourself up for success in the coming year.

Think of it like a garden. You don’t wait until spring to prepare the soil—you start cultivating before the frost hits. The same applies in business and personal growth.

1. I Review & Reflect

Before you can plant new seeds, you have to clear the weeds. Look back over the past nine months—what worked? What flopped? What surprised you? Reflection isn’t about beating yourself up over what didn’t happen, but learning from it. Did you get results from your actions? Is there anything you can do make make your processes easier?

This insight will guide where you might need to invest your energy.

Seed to plant: A clear list of what to repeat and what to leave behind in the new year and what you should do next.

2. Strengthen Your Roots

Your “roots” are your foundation—your relationships, your systems, and your mindset. Use this time to reconnect with clients, check in on partnerships, and refine your workflows. The stronger your roots now, the more growth you can handle when opportunity blooms.

Seed to plant: A plan for outreach—holiday greetings, client appreciation events, or year-end check-ins.

3. Test & Tweak

The end of the year is a perfect testing ground. Want to try a new service, product, or marketing strategy? Try it now on a smaller scale before rolling it out in the new year. This way, you’ll have feedback and adjustments ready before the big launch. In fact, this method is always good Business practice.

Seed to plant: Proceed with trial runs of ideas you want to expand in the New Year.

4. Build Momentum, Not Burnout

It’s tempting to push everything into January—new launches, new goals, new energy—but if you start small now, you’ll roll into the year with momentum rather than scrambling from zero. This doesn’t mean overloading yourself—it means taking smart, consistent steps. Write it down, develop the plan and slowly put it into action.

Seed to plant: One or two achievable actions each week that align with your 2026 goals.

5. Nurture the Future You

Your future success depends on the habits you’re cultivating now. If you want a thriving, productive, and joyful year ahead, start building those rhythms today—whether that’s blocking off time for marketing, investing in education, or creating better self-care routines. Or, maybe you want to take classes, learn a new technique or invest your time in your relationships. How will you do this. Do you know where to start?

Do all your research and set yourself in a position to launch during the time frame you wish to launch. This may mean saving $$ to afford a class, scheduling out time to watch a webinar, introducing a new class

Seed to plant: A habit that will directly feed your success in the new year.

While everyone else is slowing down, you can be quietly setting the stage for your best year yet. Plant your seeds now, water them with intention, and when the new year dawns, you’ll already see signs of growth.
