I just completed a week long event presenting my favorite brands; sa’SHá, Footlogix and LCN. There are two questions I am always asked;
- What is the difference between Footlogix and LCN
- Which brand do I prefer
The 2nd one is easy for me to answer….I don’t. It is my job to inform you, not to choose what brand you use. They are all great brands and they all have their purpose. Let me break them down for you.
What’s the Difference and Which Is Right for Your Salon?
When it comes to professional foot care, there are a few standout brands that dominate the industry — Footlogix and LCN Foot Care are two of the biggest names. Both offer high-quality, results-driven products. If you’ve ever wondered which one is right for your salon or spa, this breakdown will help you make an informed choice.
The Pediceutical Pioneer
Footlogix brands itself as the world’s first and only Pediceutical foot care line. What does that mean?
-
Dermal Infusion Technology (DIT): This proprietary technology allows active ingredients to penetrate faster and deeper into all layers of the skin, delivering results in less time.
-
Lightweight Mousse Formulas: Footlogix is known for its non-occlusive, mousse-based products that absorb quickly without any greasy residue nor fragrance.
-
Results-where medi meets pedi: Footlogix products are often used by those who consider themselves more of a clinical environment. You might find it in a podiatry office or in an environment where our Technicians are educated by Companies which specifically teach non-fluff related courses.
-
Retail-Ready: With clear labeling and a clean, clinical feel, Footlogix is easy to retail to clients who need continued care at home.
Is Footlogix right for your Salon?
-
Salons offering advanced pedicures or so called medi-pedis (which I think we need to be careful about this wording)
-
Professionals looking for fast, visible results
-
Techs who want clean, no-fuss application without heavy scents or residue
- Salons offering a wide range of retail
European Excellence in Beauty Meets Wellness
LCN (short for Light Concept Nails) is a German brand known for its innovative approach to both nail and foot care. Their foot care line combines wellness with cosmetic elegance, focusing on over-all foot care and luxurious experiences.
-
Urea-Based Formulations: LCN products often contain urea, panthenol, and other ingredients known for restoring moisture and healing rough skin.
-
Spa-Like Experience: LCN’s foot care line is designed to elevate the pedicure to a luxurious, sensory-rich service.
-
Targeted Solutions: LCN offers highly specialized products for a variety of foot conditions — from cracked heels to extremely dry or sensitive skin.
-
Beautiful Presentation: LCN’s branding and packaging are sleek, making the products feel high-end and easy to integrate into your retail offerings.
Is LCN right for your Salon?

-
Professionals looking for European-quality skin care with a focus on beauty and wellness
-
Clients who want both function and indulgence in their foot care

What I love about both brands:
The good news? You don’t have to pick just one. Many professionals use both Footlogix and LCN to meet different client needs.
-
Want to treat a diabetic client with fragile skin or deep fissures? Footlogix or LCN is your go-to….yet, let’s not forget sa’SHâ. All 3 brands have urea which, penetrates into the layers of the epidermis in an effort to heal from the inside out.
-
Offering a luxury spa pedicure for a client who wants to unwind and be pampered? LCN takes the spotlight. Yet, Footlogix can easily be incorporated during any of your pedicure steps as well as. Some of our clients prefer the Footlogix foot soak over the LCN foot bath crystals. Or, one massage lotion over another. Visa Versa!
Ultimately, the best foot care line is the one that aligns with your business model and client base. We proudly offer both brands — because your clients deserve options, and you deserve tools that deliver.
The bottom line is this; Both Footlogix and LCN are results oriented brands. Both brands will deliver what yu need and your clients need for happy healthy feet. We do find LCN has longer lasting hydration which…makes sense. Afterall, it has added hydrating ingredients. However, they both do the job and are both easy to use and cost effective. In fact, they both cost under $2.50 per service in the pedicure room
